Richard Brown Takes the Helm as Glitnor Group's New CEO
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Glitnor Group has announced the appointment of Richard Brown as its new Chief Executive Officer to assume the role at the start of 2024, following regulatory approvals.
Brown will be joining Glitnor Group from Gaming Innovation Group, where he was the latter's CEO until last month when he announced his departure from the company. However, he will remain with GiG until the close of the year.
During his tenure at GiG, Brown played an important role in the company's reorganization. He led a range of noteworthy acquisitions as well as expansion into new markets. According to GiG, his exceptional leadership resulted in the company achieving record-breaking revenues in the first quarter of 2023.

Operations and Leadership Transition
Glitnor Group was founded in Malta in 2018. The global online gambling company operates several casino brands, including LuckyCasino and Gambola, where players can access a wide range of offerings, from slots to live dealers.
In December 2022, the business announced that David Flynn would step down from his role as CEO and take on a new board position. Flynn has been the CEO of GiG since 2020 and has now moved on to the company's board. When he stepped down, he handed over the reins to co-founder Jorgen Nordlund who will continue to work as the interim CEO until Brown steps in next year.
By appointing Richard, I believe Glitnor has secured one of the industry's top C-level talents, and I'm looking forward to the positive impact he'll have on our business as we look to strengthen our brands and enter more markets in the future. Given the successful nature of his time at GiG and the wealth of igaming experience he has in general, I'm certain Richard has all of the necessary skills to help take Glitnor to a new level, and I think I speak for everyone when I say we can't wait to work with him as we enter our next phase of development.
