RSI New Jersey Links Up with Design Works Gaming

Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has increased its portfolio of games in New Jersey after agreeing on a deal with Design Works Gaming (DWG).

As a result, it means that players in the Garden State will now be able to access games from the studio via Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming platform, RSI’s BetRivers, in addition to PlaySugarHouse.

Already boasting an array of popular titles, including 10X Fortune, Break the Bounty, and Lucky Tap, players in the state will be able to access these and many more, as well as any new releases for the foreseeable future.

Significant Opportunity for DWG

Such a partnership is somewhat of a landmark for the ambitious game designer who has started to make a mark in the industry over the last couple of years.

RSI is a major brand in the US online gambling industry with big growth plans of its own, though not just limited to native soil. Such a link-up for DWG in New Jersey could pave the way for other markets, including LATAM, where it is continuing to carve out a substantial presence.

Rush Street has one of the most robust platforms in the US iGaming industry, and their players are accustomed to getting their hands on the best titles on the market.
We’ve worked closely together to curate a game rollout plan, and we’re confident players will be thrilled with the content that hits their lobby. There’s real potential for us to grow together and, I’m excited to see where this partnership goes in the coming months and years.

While the goal will no doubt be aiming to serve RSI across its multiple markets, the immediate objective for DWG is ensuring that it can attract the players in New Jersey and hope that its games are enough of a hook on the RSI site to achieve good enough numbers.

Design Works Gaming’s portfolio of high-quality titles is really exciting, as it delivers a vast array of top-class casino games to our players in New Jersey. We’re looking forward to offering these popular games soon in other markets where we also operate as we continually strive to offer new and exciting content to our players.

RSI to Increase US Market Presence?

Over the last couple of years, we have seen the US online gambling industry dominated by the likes of FanDuel, Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings, and most recently, BetMGM, which has started to gain major traction.

However, RSI has always somewhat been in the background, almost an interested observer in the key markets, forging its own unique selling points. In addition to this, almost seemingly being a hedge, RSI was quick to appear in Mexico and Colombia, having identified markets where it was perhaps easier to dominate, which still had a lot of potential.

Having established itself in both of these markets over the last couple of years, almost as undisputed number one, it will undoubtedly have its eye on making an impact in key US markets.

Forging key partnerships will be crucial to this strategy, and having aligned with DWG, it will be hoped that this can help to elevate its status (at least in New Jersey for now) further over the course of the next few months.
