Rush Street Gaming Announces Tim Drehkoff To Be the New CEO

Greg Carlin the current CEO of Rush Street Gaming is to step down from his post at the beginning of May this year. Carlin co-founded Rush Street, with Neil Bluhm, and later co-founded Rush Street Interactive to develop their online gaming platforms, in 2012.

His replacement is Tim Drehkoff who has been with Rush Street for 20 years. He has been the Chief Financial Officer since 2012, and as part of the current leadership team, it is envisaged the move to CEO will be a seamless transition.

Speaking of the change Bluhm, the Chair of Rush Street Gaming said, “We thank Greg for his many contributions and for helping to build a great business. Greg has a proven eye for recruiting and developing top talent, of which Tim is a great example. We wish Greg the very best and look forward to many future successes under Tim’s leadership.”

Since the first casino the Fallsview Casino Resort, in Niagara Falls, was opened in 2004, the operation has grown, and Rush Street now has six casinos throughout North America in its portfolio.

Greg Carlin CEO, Rush Street Gaming

Rush Street is in great hands with Tim as CEO, and we’ve never had a more talented group of executives at all our properties. It has been the honor of a lifetime to start a business with Neil and develop and operate six successful casino projects, all of which have had a positive impact on their host communities. I’m especially proud of the culture we’ve built, and I’m excited about the path ahead for Rush Street Gaming and for myself. My sincere gratitude to the entire Rush Street Gaming team.
