Sarah Eternal Fined €900k for Illegal Gaming in the Netherlands
The Dutch Gambling Authority has slapped Sarah Eternal SRL with a €900,000 fine for illegally offering online gambling services to Dutch residents through its Casinosky website.
The penalty comes after a KSA investigation uncovered several infractions by the operator, including its failure to prevent Dutch players from accessing its services. By failing to comply with this requirement, the operator directly breaches Dutch gambling law, which requires all gambling operators to hold a valid license to provide gambling legally.
Additionally, the website allows players to gamble using cryptocurrencies and lacks age verification measures, thereby risking underage gambling.
The severity of the violations led the KSA to impose a fine that exceeded its standard base amount of €600,000. The watchdog may have also considered that this isn't the first time the company will face regulatory action about its unlicensed status in the Netherlands.
Last May, the KSA issued a cease-and-desist order to Sarah Eternal SRl to stop offering games of chance in the country or face a fine of €280,000 a week, up to a maximum of €840,000. At that time, KSA investigators found that Dutch residents could create accounts, deposit funds, and gamble on the platform.
The Netherlands has a legal market to ensure that people who want to gamble can do so safely. With these types of illegal providers, we often see that no account is taken of the prevention of risky gaming behaviour. As KSA, we take tough action against these types of parties.

KSA Cracks Down on Illegal Gaming
The penalty reflects the KSA’s commitment to ward off unlicensed gaming operators and maintain a safe and regulated online gambling environment in the Netherlands.
In January, the KSA issued fines to Alimaniere and Winning Poker Network for similar violations. Both companies operated unlicensed online casino and poker games in the Netherlands and had defied previous orders to cease their activities.
