Sportradar, the global sports technology provider, has announced the appointment of Jim Bombassei to the position of Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Finance at the company.

Bombassei joins Sportradar from SciPlay Corporation, where he served in the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). At the global gaming company, he was responsible for financial reporting, accounting, and investor relations. He also acquired nearly three decades of experience at Viacom, where he held a variety of roles in the financial division.

Founded in 2001, Sportradar is a worldwide sports technology company that supplies a leading platform for sports fans and bettors. Sportradar boasts it covers over a million events on major sports each year and has partnerships with many leading sporting franchises in the major sports leagues globally, like the NHL, MLB, NASCAR, UEFA, FIFA, and Bundesliga. This also includes an extended agreement with FanDuel to supply NBA data until 2031.

In his role, Bombassei has been tasked with developing relationships with members of the global investment community. Sportradar has outlined a long-term strategy, which the company wants Bombassei to promote, using his vast experience in the technology and gaming industries. He will report directly to Gerard Griffin, the CFO of Sportradar, based in New York.
