Sportradar to Supply NBA Data in Extended Deal with FanDuel

Sportradar has announced the partnership with FanDuel, which sees the provider supply official NBA data until 2031. This expands and extends the original agreement between the two parties signed in August this year.

As part of the new partnership, FanDuel will receive additional betting services from the data provider. Sportradar is to introduce new player tracking data, which will allow FanDuel to offer a range of new betting products to players using their sportsbook.

Parlay bets that allow customers to bet on player performance, and other in-game data are becoming more popular. The additional data that Sportradar provides will allow FanDuel to offer these wagers on its sportsbook.

As the largest operator in North America, FanDuel is an exceptional partner, trusting in our products and services to help define their market differentiation. We are thrilled to further expand our relationship with FanDuel in a manner that will evolve and grow the skyrocketing market for sports betting in the U.S. while continuing to monetize our long-term partnership with the NBA. This deal demonstrates the value of our strategy in delivering products and services on top of data rights.

Sportradar signed a deal with the NBA last year to provide the official NBA data from the league.

The FanDuel sportsbook will be the first operator in North America to enjoy the comprehensive content and betting tools provided by Sportradar.

FanDuel’s top priority is to provide a superior product experience to our customers. As we forged this deal, it was critically important that our commitment to NBA basketball and its official data be tied to substantial reinvestment in product innovation and enhancements that will ensure FanDuel retains a market leading NBA offering. We’re excited to continue our long-term relationship with Sportradar, as their comprehensive data is a critical element to a successful customer experience and one we now have long-term stability with moving forward.
