Sportradar in Caribbean Premier League Deal to Provide Cricket Data

Sportradar has won the right to partner with the Caribbean Premier League, as an Official Betting Partner, and Official Data Partner, in a deal that will see the provider supply its comprehensive data and betting services to the cricket league.

This comes as Sportradar was successful in winning the rights in a tender bidding process to collect, package, and distribute data on matches throughout the Caribbean Premier League competition.

Under the details of the partnership, Sportradar will provide data and betting services for the Hero and Massy Caribbean Premier Leagues, which are the men’s and women’s leagues respectively. This amounts to 38 matches in a season.

Additionally, there is a 6IXTY tournament for men and women that comprises 19 games, and Sportradar has also won the rights to cover and provide data services for these events.

Sportradar will also be tasked with revamping the Caribbean Premier Leagues Match Centre on its official website. The provider will power the Match Centre with data relating to live scores, ball-by-ball coverage, live standings, and all the in-depth statistical analysis that cricket is known for.

We are delighted to be partnering with Sportradar for the Hero Caribbean Premier League, Massy Women’s Caribbean Premier League and SKYEXCH 6IXTY. Their unrivalled Match Centre gives fans the ability to follow matches from our tournaments wherever they are which is another way we can bring our fantastic supporters even closer to the action.

This partnership follows deals Sportradar has with other cricket leagues, including the International Cricket Council (ICC), Cricket Ireland, Tamil Nadu Premier League, Cricket Scotland and The Royal Dutch Cricket Association (KNCB). Sportradar believes this partnership will build on these other deals and keep raising the brand awareness of the company with an audience of billions worldwide who follow the sport of cricket.

This partnership will increase the Caribbean Premier League’s visibility around the world and contribute to its continual growth by connecting it with 2.5 billion cricket fans globally through Sportradar’s global customer network. We’re thrilled to be able to support the League and its athletes in reaching a new, global audience.
