Sports Information Services (SIS), the live sports streaming platform, has announced the appointment of industry veteran Joel Anyaegbu as Commercial Manager for the West Africa jurisdiction.

Based in Nigeria, Anyaegbu has previous experience in the iGaming industry, and his last position was serving the gambling brand betBonanza as Regional Manager. He played a key role in making the bookmaker one of the fastest-growing gaming operators in West Africa.

SIS states they believe Anyaegbu will bring his sales experience and business knowledge of gaming operations to his new role at the streaming service. The company provides customers in Africa with round-the-clock horse racing and greyhound racing, as well as the operator's popular lottery-based 49’s live numbers draw.

The progress that SIS continues to make internationally is impressive, and I can’t wait to bring my industry knowledge to the table as the new Commercial Manager for West Africa. Recent content deals have demonstrated the company’s commitment to commercial expansion in regions where players have a proven appetite for its content. I look forward to furthering that progress.

Strategy for Commercial Growth in West Africa

The live streaming platform boasts it has a good recent record of partnering with significant gaming operators in the region. Anyaegbu is expected to oversee the customer care of these existing partners, as well as lead further deals with stakeholders in the gaming industry. Additionally, Anyaegbu will promote the sports products from SIS, including its Competitive Gaming and soccer offerings.

Joel’s proven commercial acumen within the African market will be a real asset to our plans of continued international expansion through the delivery of a set of products that will resonate with players. As well as our live numbers draw, our round-the-clock racing offering and our end-to-end Competitive Gaming solution offer additional value for operators in Africa as significant drivers of revenue. We know that the bettors in the region are football mad and our esoccer product in particular will be a huge success.
