Svenska Spel in Deal with SlotMill

Sweden's state-owned gambling company Svenska Spel has entered into a content partnership with iGaming developer SlotMill.

Under the terms of the agreement, SlotMill will provide Svenska Spel with its wide array of slot games, including titles like Super Fruit Smash, The Big Hit, Coin Quest, Merlin's Fortune, Sands of Eternity, and more.

In 2020 and 2021, many online gaming sites like Svenska Spel experienced uncommon success. This was largely due to the Covid-19 restrictions and the temporary closure of brick-and-mortar gambling establishments. However, since the restrictions were relaxed and land-based centers opened their doors to players, the global gambling market has become increasingly competitive. In its last financial report, Svenska Spel published a year-on-year decline.

However, by adding SlotMill's gaming content, Svenska Spel has further bolstered its online casino offering. The operator hopes to attract new users and retain its existing customers in the competitive market.

Earlier this year, Svenska Spel inked a similar content agreement with Push Gaming that saw the latter provide it with its full catalog of games, including hits like Nightfall and Big Bamboo.
