TheScore Bet Now GLI-33 certified for Ontario Sports Betting

Penn National Gaming Inc (NASDAQ: PENN) has announced that its subsidiary Score Digital Sports Ventures (Canada) Inc (theScore Bet) has received Gaming Laboratories International GLI-33 certification for its mobile sports betting and iGaming app and the sportsbook player account management platform it plans to launch in Ontario, Canada.

The GLI-33 certification is one a company must obtain before it can be approved to offer internet sports betting and iGaming services in the Ontario province.

The Province of Ontario has slated 2022 to be the year it launches its iGaming and sports betting market with private operators.

As it prepares to launch in Ontario in early 2022, the Penn National subsidiary promises Ontarians a wide range of online sports betting and iGaming services, subject to receipt of all regulatory approvals and satisfaction of pre-launch requirements imposed by the AGCO and iGaming Ontario.
