Three Rivers Casino Guest Hits Record $253K Table Game Jackpot
FLORENCE, Ore. – An Oregon couple celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary won two jackpots at the same casino table.
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Three Rivers Casino Resort said guest Janice won a $253,853.30 BSX Triple Diamond Progressive Jackpot while playing Three Card Poker. The casino described the payout as one of the most significant table game progressive wins recorded in Oregon.
Janice and her husband, Karl, were visiting the Florence property from Sandy, Oregon. The couple have been club members at Three Rivers since 2009.
“I am just so shocked. I’m still shocked! We just can’t believe it!” Janice said. “My whole body felt numb.”

Jackpot Hit on Second Hand
According to the casino, Janice had placed a $5 BSX side wager and hit the bonus on only the second hand dealt after she sat down at the table. The win reset the progressive jackpot. Hours later, Karl won a BSX Double Diamond Jackpot worth $10,904 at the same table.
“I just never expected to win something like this, especially after my wife had just won!” Karl said. Together, the couple’s two jackpots totalled more than $264,000. They said they plan to use the money for future cruises and vacations.

Three Rivers Casino Resort is operated by the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians. The tribe also operates a sister casino property in Coos Bay.
Oregon’s casino market is smaller than many other US gaming states, with tribal casinos operating alongside the state lottery and video lottery system.
