Wazdan Continues North American Expansion with Ontario

Wazdan, the popular developer of online casino games, has announced that it has received approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). As such, the company is now able to provide operators within the region with its large portfolio of games.

The latest license means that Wazdan is now present in twenty regulated markets. It will soon be announcing partnerships with AGCO-approved operators, ensuring that players in the region can enjoy its titles.

Ontario opened its regulated iGaming market at the beginning of April after a long process that began three years ago when the province’s government announced that it intended to end Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s monopoly on iGaming and allow private operators to enter the market.

Wazdan has already secured licenses in the US states of Michigan, New Jersey, and West Virginia, and the latest license will help it cement its position in North America. Wazdan has also said that it will be displaying its products at the SBC Summit North America, which is taking place in New Jersey in July.

Michal Imiolek CEO at Wazdan

We’re hugely excited to be a part of this newly regulated iGaming market. Ontario promises to be one of the biggest markets in North America, and this move adds massively to our growing foothold in the region. We’re sure that operators throughout the province will benefit massively from all we have to offer.
