Whitezip to Merge with Markor Technology and Form Casimba Gaming
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Whitezip, the online casino and gaming operator, has announced it is to merge with Markor Technology, the iGaming solution provider, to form a new company called Casimba Gaming.
It is hoped that the new company will offer an increased range of products and services to its customers while building on its considerable base in the industry. Markor is currently a provider of Player Account Management (PAM) services and White Label products, as well as a gaming aggregation platform.
Dersim Sylwan, who is the current CEO of Whiezip, will take the helm of Casimba Gaming as its new CEO. Sylwan has been the CEO of Whitezip for the last 2 years and has been involved in the gaming industry since 2007. During his time in the industry, Sylwan has held senior positions at tier-1 providers, including Leo Vegas Group, Kindred Group, and Svenska Spel.
The new brand Casimba Gaming will retain its current presence and primary focus in the UK, the Nordics, and Canadian markets.
Both parties have stressed that this is a good strategic move and that the combined strengths of the two companies will provide “significant synergies” for the future. The Casimba Gaming brand will have combined revenues of $100 million while offering a wide range of gaming solutions and with more than 50,000 monthly customers.
