Bragg Gaming Enters Bahamas Market via Island Luck Deal

iGaming software company Oryx Gaming has signed a content distribution agreement with Island Luck, a gambling operator based in the Bahamas.

The partnership is coming after Bragg Gaming, the parent company of Oryx Gaming, acquired a supplier license to operate in the Bahamian region earlier this month. Under the terms of the agreement, the provider will power Island Luck with a wide range of online gaming content developed by its partners and in-house studios.

This deal is highly significant to Bragg as it marks the provider’s entry into the Bahaman online gambling market. The firm expects to experience success with its launch in the Bahamas because of the jurisdiction’s demographic similarities with the US and Canada.

The company has already secured its presence in the Americas by getting a license to operate in Ontario, thanks to official approval from AGCO. It is also making moves to acquire the licenses of other states in the US like Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan.

In line with its expansion plans, the firm debuted in Italy earlier this month via its partnership with Microgame, an Italian online gambling joint-stock company.

Chris Looney - CEO at Bragg

Island Luck is a great partner for us with local know-how and a growing customer base and we are very excited about introducing our content in the Bahamas for the first time together with them. This is just the first partnership of many as we look forward to establishing ourselves as the premier supplier on the island.

Chris LooneyChief Commercial Officer at Bragg

Island Luck is the biggest gambling operator in the Bahamas. The firm currently offers casino, lottery, and sports betting services to its teeming Bahamian players. With its deal with Oryx Gaming, the firm aims to boost its existing content offering.

As soon as we heard about ORYX’s content receiving the green light in the Bahamas we knew we wanted to partner with them and bring their content to our customers. With a diverse games library from some really talented studios, our ability to offer their content strengthens our impressive portfolio offerings and helps us continue to be the operator of choice to local players.
