Charlie Blackmon Sets Record with MaximBet Deal
Leading sports betting firm, MaximBet has reportedly signed a landmark sportsbook endorsement deal with Colorado Rockies star Charlie Blackmon.
Having played for the Colorado Rockies for 12 seasons as an outfielder, Blackmon is one of the most popular players in the state of Colorado. Although MLB laws prohibit him from referencing specific baseball bets or promoting gambling on football, he is permitted to participate in promotions and social media content.
Under the terms of his partnership with MaximBet, Blackmon will feature in upcoming marketing campaigns and fan events.
Although Blackmon is the first MLB to ink an endorsement deal with a sportsbook, many MLB teams like Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, and Washington Nationals have their own partnerships with sportsbooks.
