Online Gambling Growing in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania has quickly established itself as one of the leading online gambling markets in the US. Last month saw gambling revenue grow 8.9% year-on-year to reach $467 million, mainly due to growth in sports betting and iGaming.

Revenue from iGaming was up 34.8% year-on-year to $132.9 million. Of this, $94.9 million came from online slots, an increase of 31.9%, and $35.4 million came from online table games, an increase of 48.0%.
Hollywood Casino Leads the Way
Golden Nugget Online Gaming will be facing stiff competition in Pennsylvania. Hollywood Casino at Penn National is currently the market leader and enjoyed iGaming revenue of $54.4 million in 2023. It was followed by Valley Forge Casino Resort with $29.2 million and Rivers Casino Philadelphia with $26.8 million.
