Global Gaming Awards 2021 Winners Announced
The winners of the Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2021 were revealed at a ceremony held at Sands Expo, Las Vegas, on Monday 4 October. The ceremony brought together some of the biggest names in the industry as they eagerly awaited to find out who had been voted this year’s winners.
The voting process was led by industry figures from the industry, and they were then adjudicated by KPMG.
Evolution Gaming landed another top award in the Digital Industry Supplier category, followed closely by Scientific Games and Kami.
MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) was another big-name winner. Its jointly owned sportsbook, BetMGM, won the Digital Operator Award, and it was a runner up in two further categories: Responsible Business of the Year and Customer Loyalty Program.
The most successful company at this year’s ceremony was Aristocrat, which picked up three awards, Land-Based Product (In the Clear), Slot of the Year (Buffalo Link), and Land-Based Industry Supplier.
This year’s award for Responsible Business of the Year went to the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, after they spent 2021 working hard to give back to the community and contribute to charitable causes.
A huge congratulations to this year’s winners, as well as a massive thank you to everyone who took part and helped make an in-person award ceremony a possibility. As the world begins to return to a sense of normalcy our industry has shown itself to be a resilient one; and I’m sure we will all be back next year for another round of the Awards.
Other winners include Wynn Resorts (Land-Based Operator), GeoComply – IDComply (Digital Product), Caesars Entertainment – Caesars Rewards (Customer Loyalty Program), Circa Resort & Casino (Property – North America), Hard rock Punta Cana (Property – LATAM), Sightline Payments (Payment Solution), and Soo Kim – Bally’s Corporation (American Executive of the Year).
