Inspired in Deal with Betfred to Supply 5,500 Gaming Cabinets

The Betfred Group has signed an agreement with Inspired Entertainment, the leading B2B provider of gaming content and technology, in a deal that will see the bookmaker receive gaming terminals for its UK based retail operations.

The new 5-year partnership will see Inspired supply and install around 5,500 cabinets which is the entire gaming machine operations for all the Betfred betting shops in the UK.

As part of the deal Betfred has agreed to buy the new server-based gaming Vantage cabinets from Inspired, throughout 2023. This latest version of cabinet from Inspired features an intelligent operating system that can use player history to recommend games.

As well as supplying and installing the new gaming cabinets, under the terms of the deal Inspired will also maintain the smooth running of the terminals for Betfred throughout the UK. Supporting both the physical terminals and managing the software remotely.

For Inspired this partnership represents its biggest deal with a bookmaker in the UK, and can be added to the over 50,000 gaming terminals it has located in betting operations worldwide. Inspired operates in around 35 jurisdictions and its products are situated in more than 32,000 retail outlets globally.

This is a milestone contract for Inspired, securing our largest UK betting shop customer estate until 2028, We are extremely pleased with the results of our new Vantage terminal, which Betfred has agreed to purchase as part of this contract, and we expect that arrangement to be the norm for our LBO customers going forward.
