Light & Wonder Target Table Games Growth with New Consultant

Mark Yoseloff, the former chairman and CEO of Shuffle Master, has been appointed by Light & Wonder to a newly created consultancy position focused on table games.

Yoseloff has been brought in to help Light & Wonder with global growth plans for its table games business. He will also be helping with games across all platforms, including felt-based table games, electronic table games and cross-platform content.

Since March, Yoseloff has been the president of Disruptive Gaming Technology and prior to that, he was the CEO at High Roller Productions for close to half a decade. In the past, Yoseloff was at the helm of Shuffle Master as chair and CEO for nine years. For a time, he was also executive vice president at Shuffle Master, which was bought by Bally Technologies in 2013.

Other highlights of Yoseloff’s career include time spent at Big Bet Gaming, Well Suited and the University of Las Vegas Centre for Gaming Innovation.

Light & Wonder Table Games Revenue Rises in Q2

Light & Wonder’s recent financial results, which cover Q2 2023, show a rise of 34% year-on-year in table game revenue. Overall, revenue for the quarter was $731 million, a 19.8% increase. This growth was observed across all of its business arms, with $496 million of the total revenue coming from services and the remaining $235 million from product sales. Revenue from gaming activities for the quarter amounted to $471 million, which included $190 million from SciPlay social gaming and $70 million from iGaming.
