Lightning Box Releases Slot Update to Silver Lion Classic Game

Lightning Box, the gaming development studio, has released an updated version of its popular classic slot title, Silver Lion.

Lightning Box, a development arm of the Light and Wonder group, has added a new feature to the Silver Lion title launched in 2016, called the Feature Ball.

The Silver Lion title is a four-by-five-reel slot and gives players 1,024 ways to win, and features a bonus game that is triggered by three, four, or five scatter symbols. The number of scatter symbols determines if the player gets eight, fifteen, or twenty bonus games.

During bonus gameplay, a shiny red jewel symbol can also trigger a further five bonus games. The new Feature Ball bonus is activated by at least three symbols in the Silver Lion inter-reel game.

The developer states the new Feature Ball addition to the Silver Lion slot will give the title a new pinball element. In the new feature, players can predict four pockets of the seven available where the ball will fall. If players predict correctly, they have the opportunity to win up to 100x of their bet or trigger one of the other bonuses available.

Silver Lion has always been one of our most popular games, and we didn’t want to tinker with it just for the sake of it, But I think the new feature ball component really adds to the much-loved gameplay, and we’re excited about seeing what players old and new make of it.

Gaming operator Betsson will initially have exclusive rights to the new version of the Silver Lion Feature Ball slot, and it is distributed through the Games Global service.
