Lottoland has introduced a new charity scratch card in support of Hospice UK. The scratch cards cost £1, with £0.20 going to charity. The cards offer a range of prizes, and there is a top prize of £50,000.

Money to Help More than 300,000 People

The money raised will be used to help with more than 200 hospices across the UK, which collectively help more than 300,000 people and their families each year. This, of course, being far from the first time UK bookmakers donated to good causes, but it is a step forward in helping the community.

Hospice UK works to improve palliative and end-of-life care, giving professionals the resources they need and helping different sectors of society deal with death and bereavement.

We are delighted to be able to launch our charity scratchcard in aid of Hospice UK, particularly during this week when everyone across the country is coming together to celebrate all that hospices do and the people that keep them going. The work that Hospice UK does is truly phenomenal, and the entire Lottoland team was very much behind this decision to dedicate our new scratchcard to their efforts. It’s something we’ve been working on for some time, and we are all very excited to see how much funding we can raise for this incredibly worthwhile cause.

Hospice UK Welcomes New Game

The CEO of Hospice UK, Toby Porter, has welcomed the new scratch card. He said they are delighted to have partnered with Lottoland and explained that the funds will be used to help the charity continue its work “to ensure all adults and children living with a terminal or life-shortening illness receive the care and support they need when they need it.”

He added, “From clinical staff to bereavement counselors, kitchen staff to volunteer gardeners, those who support over 300,000 people every year are what makes hospice care so special.”
