PointsBet Appoints Former Time Inc. Producer Liam Roecklein

Online gaming operator PointsBet has appointed Liam Roecklein as Senior Vice President of Content.

Born and raised in New York, Roecklein's sojourn into the content production and management industry started in 2012 when he worked at Zazoom, a digital video startup, and in the production department at Major League Baseball. 

He has since served as an Executive Producer at Time Inc. and developed programming with top-notch magazines like People, Fortune, Golf, Money, Sports Illustrated, and several others. 

Before his appointment at PointsBet, Roecklein worked as the Senior Vice President & General Manager at Cheddar News, where he oversaw the live streaming financial news network's content, growth, programming, production, and branded teams. 

While making the announcement, the recently appointed U.S. CMO of PointsBet, whom Roecklein would be reporting to, Kyle Christensen, showed great optimism about Roecklein's appointment.

According to him, Liam coming on board with his proven track record of growing businesses using content will help the company further achieve bigger things.

At PointsBet, Roecklein would be in charge of the company's overall content strategy for digital, social, and traditional media like the 'Live Your Bet Life' campaign featuring Drew Bree
