Stanleybet Aims for Global Market Growth Through Rebranding

European betting operator Stanleybet has announced its plans to rebrand its operations to support its expansion strategy in new and established markets.

The new styles the operator will implement include changing its colors temporarily to ‘honor historical events.’ Stanleybet has also set the slope of the diagonal cut in its token and trademark letters to 18 degrees.

According to the company, the diagonal cut signifies the balance between tradition and innovation. The rebranding is coming at the right time as the company sets its eyes on ‘the future of the global market.’

Since it was founded as a bookmaker in 1958, this is the first time that Stanleybet would be undergoing a rebrand. Although established in Northern Ireland, the operator has its headquarters in England. It is also licensed in several European jurisdictions, including Cyprus, Italy, Malta, Spain, Croatia, Denmark, Romania, and the United Kingdom.

In November 2022, the operator secured a retail betting license in the Andalusia region of Spain. It also has a B2C presence in Africa, particularly Nigeria.

Since we first considered the rebranding, the goal has been to continue to embody the group’s core values – strength, dynamism, and balance – while responding to the changes in the industry and, more generally, to new styles and trends used to convey a message.
