Thunderkick Names Svante Sahlström as New Chief Commercial Officer
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Thunderkick, the slots development studio, has announced the appointment of Svante Sahlström as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) as the company prepares for its move into the Canadian province of Ontario.
Sahlström has more than a decade of experience in the gaming industry and has held a variety of management positions, including Head of New Markets at ELK Studios.
Additionally, Sahlström has worked in the iGaming payment sector and has gained six years of client-facing experience working for payment solutions companies such as Zimpler and Trustly.
The first big event for Sahlström as a representative of Thunderkick will be the ICE trade event next month. The company wants to introduce him to existing customers and create new connections with potential Ontario clients.

The developer sees Sahlström as key in the company’s plan to achieve sustained growth in regulated gaming markets throughout 2024. The company has identified Ontario as the main market in which the developer wants to achieve success in the near future, as it will be launching the Canadian jurisdiction later this year.
