Venetian Player Hits $2.6M Jackpot Playing Casino Poker
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:A Las Vegas visitor is celebrating after becoming a millionaire at the end of last week. The Venetian said that the lucky player visited the casino to play Ultimate Texas Hold’em on Saturday night when they hit the life-changing win.
The player was dealt a spade royal flush, having placed the $5 side bet that gave them the chance to win the mega tier of the Millionaire Progressive. This saw them win an astonishing $2,699,320, which is the largest Millionaire Progressive jackpot ever won at the venue.
Since the Venetian launched the Millionaire Progressive jackpot in 2018, it has created 11 new millionaires. If a player makes the $5 side bet, then they become eligible for the mega tier, which seeds at $1. The jackpot is only won if a player is dealt a natural spade royal flush.
The Millionaire Progressive can be won at several of The Venetian’s casino poker table games, including Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Three Card Poker, Let It Ride, Crazy 4 Poker, and Mississippi Stud.
Those who place the side bet have the chance to win a number of extra prizes. A royal flush awards the major prize, a straight flush awards the minor prize, four-of-a-kind awards $1,500, a full house awards $250, a flush awards $200, and a straight awards $150.
