Zitro Meets Carbon Footprint Reduction Target and Goes One Step Further
Two years ago, in 2021, Zitro, a developer of iGaming titles, set a goal of reducing the company’s carbon footprint by 80%. Now Zitro has announced that it not only met this target but it exceeded it and reduced its footprint by a further 50% in 2022.
In order to meet its ambitious target, Zitro invested in new IT equipment for its offices that made them more environmentally friendly. In fact, Zitro has gone further than reducing its carbon footprint. The company has worked hard to move to renewable energy sources. Today, 100% of the energy at Zitro’s Barcelona offices comes from renewable sources.
Due to its efforts, Zitro has been awarded the ISO 14064-1 certification, and the company has set a new standard for the iGaming industry in regard to sustainability and the environment.
We are proud to have achieved the ISO 14064-1 certification. This is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and reducing our impact on the environment. We will continue to invest in sustainable practices to ensure that we meet our goals and lead by example in the industry.
