BetMGM Debuts Sports Betting Service in Puerto Rico
Global online sportsbook BetMGM has reportedly partnered with the Casino del Mar at La Concha Resort to launch the first sports gambling operation in Puerto Rico.
As a result of the partnership, twelve BetMGM's kiosks and five betting windows would be available at the La Concha resort to accept people's wagers and sports bets.
La Concha Resort is based in the city of San Juan. The resort is home to Casino del Mar, with over 200 rooms and suites and a wide range of casino games like slots, blackjack, craps, roulette, and poker.
We are very excited to kick off sports betting at Casino del Mar through this important strategic alliance with BetMGM. In Puerto Rico, there is a wide base of sports fans who will now add the possibility of becoming winners to the excitement of their favorite sports games and matches.
With the successful launching of its physical betting kiosks, BetMGM plans to unveil its betting app in the same jurisdiction and open a full-scale retail sportsbook at La Concha later this year.
BetMGM was formed from an alliance between two leading brands in the gambling industry, Entain and MGM Resorts International. The sportsbook is currently live in 18 states across the US, including New York, the latest state entered by the sports betting site.
