Boyd Gaming Inks Deal with FanDuel Group in Louisiana

FanDuel Sportsbook has launched five new retail experiences across all Boyd Gaming properties in the state.

In the third quarter of 2019, these two companies inked a content agreement deal.

This partnership led to the launching of sportsbooks across the Midwest. It introduced the mobile app in Pennsylvania. Due to its tremendous performance in Pennsylvania, they launched it in Indiana.

During the second quarter of 2020, the partnership expanded to retail sportsbooks at seven retail Boyd properties. The third quarter of 2020 saw two launches of the betting app in Iowa and Illinois.

During the pandemic, the online sports betting sector saw a decline of 22.4%. However, Boyd gaming did well for themselves during this period with a gain of 27.8%. Online interactions have skyrocketed ever since.

The company shares rank #3 on Zacks Rank. Due to the deal with FanDuel, the company has high prospects in the iGaming industry. Boyd's gaming operation is hopeful for the future with FanDuel.
