KSA Penalizes NetX Betting for Unlicensed Gambling
Dutch regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has penalized another operator for offering online gaming without a license, marking the third enforcement action in just one week.

NetX Betting has been fined €675,000 for operating two online gambling platforms in the Netherlands without approval. According to KSA, Dutch players have been accessing the company’s illegal gaming services through the platforms Pferdewetten and BetBird.
The operator was previously issued an enforcement order by the KSA and now faces a total fine of €675,000, comprising a base penalty of €600,000 and additional sanctions.
Dutch players need to be protected, which is why illegal gambling offers are addressed with strict measures. Illegal providers often show little regard for player welfare and disregard their duty of care. For example, players who are inactive for a time after creating an account face a ‘fine,’ where a €5 monthly fee is imposed for not playing. This practice effectively penalizes players for not participating in the illegal games offered, a policy that is clearly beyond acceptable limits.

The NetX fine preceded similar enforcement actions by KSA against BC.Game and Winbet’s alleged owners.
Winbet was ordered to cease offering unlicensed gaming or face a fine of €280,000 per week, up to a maximum of €840,000.
The warning relates to four gambling websites Winbet operated in the Netherlands without a license, including galaxyspins.com and winnercasino1.bet, superb1.bet, and doctorspins.com.
BloKDance was also issued the same warning when the KSA uncovered that the operator had been conducting unlicensed gambling operations in the country. The operator allegedly ran illegal games of chance on bc.game and bcgame.lu and allowed Dutch players to register, deposit, and play games on both sites, even after an initial KSA intervention.
