Paysafe Launches Updated Skrill Version in the Ontario Province

Following research into the depositing methods of gamblers in the betting industry Paysafe has identified that 73% of customers have used a digital wallet to make deposits to gaming platforms, citing convenience and security as the main reasons to use this method to make a deposit.
Paysafe has been running this Skrill product in the regulated gaming and sports betting markets in North America since 2021. The company feel that it is time to introduce this product to Canada, starting with Ontario which is the biggest province in Canada with a population exceeding 14 million residents.
The new version of the Skrill wallet has several benefits and allows customers to deposit funds to a gaming operator with a streamlined registration process via Skrill. Customers can link a bank account to their Skrill account or use an eCash voucher to add funds.
Players in Ontario who use Skrill supported gaming operators can also easily withdraw money seamlessly to their Skrill wallet and then transfer to the players bank account, giving players immediate access to their funds.
Additionally Paysafe boasts the application has a state of the art look has an integrated UX giving players ease of use with Skrill across all online platforms.
Since we first rolled-out the new Skrill in the U.S. two years ago, we feel it’s been a game changer for the payments experience of American players.
