TBILISI, Georgia: SBC Summit Tbilisi will use its second day to examine the next growth phase for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

The agenda reflects a maturing regional gaming market, where operators and suppliers are increasingly focused on talent, regulation, player engagement and long-term business planning.

The event, held in partnership with SMH, is expected to bring together 2,500 industry leaders at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace from July 15 to 16. The second-day program builds on the event’s wider regional focus after organizers previously said SBC Summit Tbilisi would target 2,500 attendees with a sports focus.

Long-Term Growth Replaces Market Entry Focus

The second-day agenda reflects a shift in how Eastern Europe and Central Asia are being discussed by the gaming industry. Rather than focusing only on licensing and customer acquisition, the sessions will look at how companies can build sustainable operations in competitive and increasingly regulated markets.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC, said the regional conversation is changing. “The conversation is shifting from growth alone to building businesses that succeed in the long term. This agenda brings together the leaders who have already experienced long-term success in the region to share their insights and predictions for the future”, he said.

Talent will be one of the main issues on the agenda, with a session titled The Talent War in iGaming: Attracting Newcomers, Developing Professionals, and Retaining Key Industry Players. Speakers from EvenBet Gaming, iGaming.com, Smart Recruitment, Flutter CEE, Rizk.rs and iGamingHUNT will discuss hiring, leadership development and retention in a market where experienced gaming professionals remain in short supply.

Player behavior will also receive attention through The Next Betting Consumer panel. That session will focus on how personalization, brand values and ethical standards are affecting customer choices, with speakers from adjarabet.com, betlive.com, Promofy, Beter and 4H Agency.

Regulation, Affiliates and Leadership Shape the Program

The C-Level Agenda panel will examine how executives balance growth ambitions with regulatory pressure. Leaders from EvenBet Gaming, Crocobet, Setantabet, Adjarabet.am and Gamingtec are expected to discuss market priorities, compliance demands and regional leadership strategies.

Regulation will also be addressed through the event’s Regulators Forum. Organizers said this year’s forum has doubled in scale, creating a broader platform for discussion between policymakers, regulators and industry stakeholders across Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Affiliate marketing will receive dedicated attention through two panels. The Operator Affiliate Compact will focus on transparency and trust between operators and affiliates, while The Evolution of the Affiliate Manager will look at how AI, automation and predictive data are changing the role.

Lasha Machavariani, founder of SMH, said the agenda is built around practical challenges facing companies in the region. “Long-term success in this region comes down to the right talent, the right partnerships, and a real understanding of what players here actually want. Those are the conversations Day Two is built around,” he said.

Sport and World Cup Planning Add Commercial Angle

The agenda also includes sessions on the relationship between sport and iGaming. Game Time: How Operators Prepare and Perform at the World Cup will examine how operators can use major tournaments for marketing, CRM and retention rather than short-term acquisition alone.

A second sports-focused session, From Clubs to Entertainment Brands, will look at how sports organizations are building revenue through commercial partnerships, fan communities and digital content. That adds a wider entertainment-business angle to an event already focused on operators, suppliers, affiliates and regulators.

For regional gaming companies, the summit comes at a point where competition is no longer only about entering new markets quickly. The second-day agenda is focused on talent, regulation, player expectations, affiliate relationships and sports-led commercial growth.

SBC Summit Tbilisi will take place from July 15 to 16 at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace. The event will include conference content, networking and exhibition opportunities for operators, suppliers, affiliates, regulators and other gaming industry stakeholders across Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
