Set Sail on the High Seas with TrueLab’s New Pirate Slot
TrueLab has announced the release of its latest nautical-themed slot, Micropirates & the Kraken of the Caribbean.
As the name suggests, the game takes players sailing on the high seas with a group of fearsome pirates. The theme is brought to life through stunning graphics, cartoonish characters, and engaging sound effects that draw players into the action.
Those who enjoy slots with strong narratives will enjoy the game’s backstory. It tells the tale of a crew of Micro Pirates who are sailing to the Caribbean in search of treasures. However, they get bored after long days at sea, and things turn chaotic. They fire cannons, blow up gunpowder, and generally let loose. However, the commotion awakes the legendary sea Kraken, which unlocks the potential for great winnings.
The action takes place on a 7x6 grid, and the slot uses a cluster pay mechanic. It also features tumbling reels, which not only allow for multiple wins from each spin, but each tumble fills a progress meter.
When the progress meter reaches the fourth level, the Powder Rush feature begins. The pirates throw between two and four powder kegs on the reels, and if they help to form a win, they explode and leave two or three wilds behind them. Reaching the eighth level triggers the free spins, and it is also possible to purchase them.
Furthermore, each time a powder keg goes off, the Kraken slaps the grid and leaves a Little Kraken Wild and a Kraken Frame behind. Each frame contains two to four health points that gradually burn, which improves the Kraken Wild progress. Eventually, a 3x3, 4x4, or 5x5 Kraken Wild is released on the grid.
This is not the first TrueLab game to have a nautical theme. For instance, the recent release Siren Symphony took players to sea. However, this is the developer’s first slot of its kind, and with a top payout of 10,000x, it promises to be a huge success.
