Shay Segev Heads for SBC Barcelona
SBC has announced that Shay Segev, the CEO of DAZN Group, will be delivering a talk on the relationship between entertainment, media, and sports betting, at the SBC Summit Barcelona.
The iGaming event is taking place from 20 to 22 September at Fira de Barcelona Montjuic and Segev will be talking on Wednesday, 21 September.
DAZN has made industry headlines recently with the announcement of its plans to launch a DAZN Bet sportsbook and it recently soft launched the service in the UK.

The DAZN platform has a portfolio of over 700 live and on-demand sports rights, including major leagues such as La Liga, NFL and Serie A. Each year it streams around one billion hours of live sports to 200 countries and territories.
Earlier this year, DAZN announced the appointment of ex-Entain CEO Segev as part of its efforts to focus on betting, NFTs and e-commerce. Since then, the company has announced a partnership with Pragmatic Group that will lead to a new betting product.
Segev will be drawing on his vast experience for his talk at SBC Barcelona. He will examine sports betting as a recreational, immersive and interactive activity and explore the future of the industry. Following the talk, Segev will join a panel discussion with LiveScore Group CEO Sam Sadi about the potential for the convergence of entertainment, media and sports betting outside of the traditional verticals.
