Sportradar Bags Maryland and Wisconsin Licenses

Leading online gambling technology provider, Sportradar has announced that its betting subsidiary, Sportradar Solutions LLC, has received gaming licenses in Maryland and Wisconsin.

Sportradar Solutions LLC was granted a Sports Wagering Contractor License in Maryland and a temporary Gaming-Related Contractor Certificate permit in Wisconsin.

Maryland launched its sports betting market early this month after a delay caused by the Sports Wagering Applicant Review Commission’s (SWARC) refusal to award sports betting licenses.

However, sports betting was launched in Wisconsin on the last day of November after the Oneida Nation opened a sportsbook at its Oneida Casino in Green Bay.

With the latest approvals, Sportradar now holds 26 licenses across state and tribal levels in the United States, including Connecticut, where it received an Online Gaming Service Provider license last month, as well as a renewal of its Sports Wagering Supplier license in West Virginia.

In November, Sportradar entered into a long-term partnership with the Swiss Handball Federation and inked a similar agreement with Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) this month.

In addition, the sports technology company announced a multi-year data supplier deal with PointsBet and announced a 5-year extension of its partnership with Kambi Group.
