Honey of Gold is an instant-win game from 7777 gaming that went live in 2022. The game bridges the gap between scratch cards and slot machines by introducing several bonus features while keeping the payout mechanic simple. Better yet, it also offers a huge progressive jackpot. Keep reading to discover just how sweet of a game it is.

An Instant Game that’s Sweeter than Honey

Honey of Gold is an instant-win game with great bonus features and a progressive jackpot. The game features a grid of 30 fields divided into 7 rows. At the end of each row is a prize amount, and it is won if three honey symbols appear in that row (they do not have to be adjacent to one another). It is possible to win prizes from several rows in each round.

However, the game introduces several slot-like features, including free spins and payout multipliers, and these are explained in detail in the following review. In our casino reviews, you can find the best places to play this and many more instant and slot games.

A Beehive Buzzing with Honey of Gold

The game’s theme is the world of honey-making bees. In the background is a wooden beehive, while the action takes place on a honeycomb-like grid that is set on the side of a dripping jar of honey. At the top of the screen is a flying bee, which plays a part in the game’s bonus features, while all of the game’s controls are designed to look like honey jars or honeycombs. The symbols that appear on the grid are thematic and include various flowers from which the bees collect pollen, as well as honey, honey jars, and beehives. The game’s ambiance is enhanced with a relaxing soundtrack, while wins are punctuated with enjoyable sound effects.

How to Play Honey of Gold

You can get started playing Honey of Gold in seconds. First, set your bet per round using the button in the lower-left corner of the screen. Then just click on the honeycomb play button to reveal the symbols. You will then be paid out for any winnings.

There is an autoplay button that can be used to set an infinite number of rounds in motion, while at the top of the screen are buttons to control the sound effects and to access the game’s rules. Honey of Gold also has a number of bonus features, and these are explained below.

Special Symbols and Bonus Features

Special beehive symbols can appear on the grid. When two, three, four, or five of them appear on a winning round, then they multiply the win by x2, x3, x4, or x5, respectively.

On any non-winning round, the bee that can be seen flying at the top right corner of the screen can descend to the grid and pour honey from a bucket to fill in random spaces and complete a winning combination.

The honey jar symbols are the key to the free spins. Each honey jar that appears on the grid awards five free rounds, and it is possible for up to three honey jar symbols to appear simultaneously. Better yet, it is possible to re-trigger the free spins by landing on more jars of honey.

The Jackpot Temple game is triggered when three ‘J’ symbols appear in the same round. In the game, you assume the role of an explorer. You are placed in a random position on a grid and are given a choice of directions. If you reach a prize at the end of your path, then you win that amount. However, if you reach the “Jackpot” sign, then you enter another level. At this level, you need to choose from the totems to reveal a prize, one of which may be the progressive jackpot.

Honey of Gold Payouts and RTP

Honey of Gold’s RTP is 95.27%, and it is a medium volatility game. In addition to the progressive jackpot, it offers a number of sizeable fixed payouts. The prize amounts could reach 0.50, 1, 1.50, 2, 2.50, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 50, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 times the bet. Furthermore, these can be made larger thanks to the beehive multiplier feature. This means that you can win up to 5,000 times your bet on a standard round.

Tips and Strategies

Honey of Gold is a game of pure luck, and there is nothing that you can do to influence each round. However, each round that you play represents another chance of triggering the jackpot game. Therefore, the aim is to play as many rounds as possible. You can achieve this by carefully managing your bankroll and betting a little less per round so that you can play more rounds. While there is no guaranteed way to trigger the jackpot, there is no reason why you can’t be the lucky player who does.

If you enjoyed this game, then you are likely to enjoy 7777 gaming’s Diamonds of Majesty. It is another instant game that offers a progressive jackpot, and the game is further enhanced by a bonus round that offers some huge prizes.
