Australian iGaming developer Aristocrat has appointed Anne Tucker as its new Company Secretary. Tucker is currently the Group Deputy Chief Legal Officer of the company. She joined the firm in October 2021 and has been instrumental in overseeing Aristocrat’s legal affairs and improving the company’s overall legal compliance. After receiving the necessary regulatory pre-approval for the new position, Tucker will succeed Kristy Jo who recently resigned from the role.

Jo took on the role in June 2021, having previously served as associate general counsel since 2018. Before joining Aristocrat, Jo worked in similar roles at NBN Co-Limited, Newcastle Permanent Building Society, and the law firm Allens Linklaters.

As the new Company Secretary, Tucker will be directly accountable to the board. She will report to the chairman for all governance matters pertaining to the effective functioning of the board. Additionally, she now serves as the designated contact for communication with the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) regarding ASX Listing Rule matters.

Tucker’s appointment comes after Matthew Primmer assumed the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO) at the company last week. Primmer brings over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry and close to a decade of expertise working with Aristocrat. In his new role, he will report directly to the company’s CEO, Trevor Croker.
