Mohegan Joins the International Betting Integrity Association
Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment has become the latest operator to join the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).
Confirming its admission into the betting association, the operator stated that its membership covers its digital and sports betting brands.
IBIA is the leading global voice on integrity for the licensed betting industry. It protects members from corrupt betting practices through collective action. It also represents the industry at high-level policy discussions like the IOC, UN, Council of Europe and European Commission.
It is no wonder the association boasts over 70 members, including leading sports betting operators worldwide such as ComeOn Group, Sporttrade and Coolbet. IBIA members account for around $137bn in global betting handle per annum and almost 50% of regulated commercial operator online betting activity.
The addition of Mohegan to IBIA’s ranks is an important boost for the association, maintaining our strong growth globally and particularly in North America. IBIA welcomes the support for, and commitment of, companies like Mohegan to betting integrity and to working in partnership with our leading monitoring network covering many of the largest regulated operators in the world.
According to Mohegan, being a member of the IBIA is beneficial to the company as it continues to expand its digital presence and provide its patrons with the most premium digital gaming entertainment.
