Swifty Global Acquires Sports Gaming Company Goldchip
Swifty Global, the finance and sports betting company, has announced its acquisition of Goldchip Limited, which had revenues of $94 million in its last financial year.
One of the brands at Swifty is the Swifty Predictions app, which lets players bet on the hundreds of in-play events that occur during a sports game. Through this acquisition, Swifty will have an almost immediate entry into the UK market for the Swifty Predictions app.
Goldchip Limited is a UK sports gambling company that has around 750 VIP clients. These high net worth players include famous gamblers and top-class sports stars. The strategy at Swifty is to increase the VIP list to 900 clients and to introduce them to its Swifty Predictions app by the end of the year.
Everyone is delighted about the acquisition and to have the Goldchip clients and team onboard. This is exactly the critical mass we need to put us on the fast track towards our bigger plans.
Goldchip had its license suspended recently by the UKGC. As Swifty already holds the appropriate licenses, the acquisition will resolve this issue.
Swifty are also hopeful they can persuade some of the VIP clients to become brand ambassadors for their products.
Swifty Chairman, Nicolas Link, commented on the deal, “I’m delighted about this deal! The team have been working extremely hard to build this business, and it’s fantastic to be able to put substantial tangible scores on the board with immediate effect.”
