Chicken Madness is a slot from BF Games that was released in April 2022. The game takes place in a farmyard and introduces players to numerous quirky characters. Along the way, players will have the chance to win big through base game multipliers, and there are two progressive jackpots up for grabs in the bonus round.

A Farmyard Full of Features

Chicken Madness is a 5-reel slot with 3 rows and 10 fixed paylines. As is usual, payouts are won by landing enough matching symbols from left to right along a payline starting from the leftmost reel. To make this easier, the slot features a chicken wild symbol that will substitute for all of the regular symbols.

In addition to the wild, Chicken Madness also offers base game multipliers and a Cash Mesh bonus game that is linked to two progressive jackpots, and both of these are explained in the following review.

Spend a Day at the Farm

Chicken Madness tells the story of a group of chickens being pursued by a fox, a cook, and a hungry villager. The theme is brilliantly brought to life with the transparent reels set in front of a view of the rising sun. To the left of the reels is a rooster pushing down the detonator of some TNT, while to the right is a town that seems to be celebrating roast chicken. An enjoyable soundtrack that is punctuated with appropriate sound effects accompanies the gameplay.

The theme extends to the game’s symbols. The crazy looking rooster is wild, and the high value symbols include a chicken, a thief fox, a chef with a gleaming knife, and a villager carrying a gun. The lower value symbols are the royals J through to A.

BF Games has ensured that Chicken Madness slot is extremely easy to play. Before spinning the reels, click on the ‘Bet’ button underneath them to set your total bet per spin. The bet will always be a multiple of 10 as there are 10 fixed paylines.

Once you are happy with your bet, just click on the swirling spin button to start the reels. Once they stop spinning, you will find out if you have won. There are a number of other useful buttons located under the reels. The lightning bolt toggles turbo mode on and off while the play button allows you to turn on autoplay. It is possible to set up to 100 spins in motion with loss and win limits. There is also a menu button that gives you access to the game rules, paytable, and sound options.

The slot has a number of rewarding bonus features, and we shall explore them in the next section of this review.

Chicken Madness Slot Bonus Features

Chicken Madness slot has two main bonus features, a base game multiplier and the Cash Mesh feature.

The multipliers in the base game are awarded after consecutive wins. With each successive win, the payout multiplier increases by +1 up to a maximum of x5. The multiplier then stays at x5 until you fail to land a win. For example, if you land two wins in a row, then the second is subject to a x2 multiplier, if you then land a third, it is subject to a x3 multiplier.

The gold coins are the slot’s bonus symbols, and landing at least five of them triggers the Cash Mesh feature. You then receive the same number of free respins as there were triggering symbols. During the respins, the coin symbols are held in place, and the aim is to land as many coins as possible. If you run out of respins and the reels are not full of coins, then you will receive up to three additional spins.

The gold coins that land come with either cash values or jackpots attached to them, which are awarded at the end of the feature. If you manage to fill the reels with coins, then you receive the Full House bonus, which doubles all of the cash values on the reels.

There are four jackpots that can be won. Two of them, the Mini and the Minor, are fixed value prizes, and they are worth 30 and 50 times the bet, respectively. The other two jackpots, the Major and Grand, are progressive jackpots, and they start at €5,000 and €10,000, respectively.

Chicken Madness Slot Payouts

Chicken Madness comes in two versions; one has an RTP of 94.08% and the other 96.06%, both of which are highly respectable for a progressive slot. It is a high volatility game, which means winnings may not be frequent, but they should be large. The most valuable symbol is the wild, which offers payouts of up to 500 times the line bet, but of course, the progressive jackpots are the biggest prizes.

Chicken Madness Playing Tips

The ultimate prize in Chicken Madness is the Grand Jackpot, but there is nothing you can do to increase your chances of winning it other than keep the reels spinning. As it is a high volatility game, you should be sure to bet an amount you can afford to sustain for as many spins as possible. Each spin is another opportunity to trigger the bonus, so don’t burn through your bankroll too quickly.

If you want to try another slot with a different take on the chicken theme, then we recommend Rooster Fury from Endorphina. It is a comical game that offers the chance of huge wins. Otherwise, you may also want to try the BF Games’ slot Cave of Gold, which has a mining theme and some truly exciting features.

A Very Mobile Farmyard

Chicken Madness on Mobile

You can play Chicken Madness slot whenever and wherever you wish as BF Games ensures that all of its games are fully mobile compatible. The slot was developed using HTML5 technology, meaning that it can be loaded directly in a mobile web browser without the need for any special apps. Furthermore, the graphics and controls have been brilliantly optimized for smaller screens.

A Slot You’d Be Mad to Miss

Chicken Madness is a slot that entertains from start to finish. The theme is brilliantly brought to life, while the base game multipliers provide excitement on every spin. The addition of a bonus game that offers the chance to win two progressive jackpots means that this is a slot that everyone should take the time to discover for themselves.
