Find more details below and read our Curse of the Pharaoh slot review till the end.

Rewarding Features on Every Spin

Curse of the Pharaoh is a 5-reel slot with 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines. The payouts work in the normal way, meaning that winning combinations are formed by landing matching symbols along a payline from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.

The Curse of the Pharaoh slot game is packed with bonus features, all of which are explained in detail later in this review. However, it features a drop mechanic that comes with payout multipliers and three free spin modes that players can choose from. Thanks to these features, each spin of the reels is packed with excitement and the chance to hit enormous payouts.

Pharaoh’s Tomb Brought to Life on Screen

The Curse of the Pharaoh online slot takes players on a thrill-filled adventure exploring the tomb of a legendary pharaoh. Accompanying them is a brave explorer who stands to the side of the reels and offers encouragement through fun animations. In general, the theme is brought to life brilliantly on screen through the slot’s graphics and animations. The reels are set in the wall of the tomb, and they are surrounded by ancient pillars and engravings. A thematic soundtrack accompanies the gameplay together with sound effects, both of which serve to enhance the theme.

There are seven regular symbols in the Curse of the Pharaoh slot machine; the four high-value symbols are depictions of Egyptian gods, and the three lower-value symbols are hieroglyphs. The wild symbol is the pharaoh’s death mask; it can land on the middle three reels and will substitute for all of the other symbols except for the scatter, which is an engraving of the sun.

How to Play Curse of the Pharaoh Slot Online

The Curse of the Pharaoh slot game takes no time at all to get the hang of. Before spinning the reels, players just need to set their total bet per spin using the controls below the reels. When happy with the bet, players just need to click on the spin button to set the reels in motion. There is also autoplay functionality, which can be used to set up to 100 spins in motion, complete with stop conditions. To the left is a menu button where shortcuts can be found to the paytable, the rules, and the settings. In the settings, it is possible to adjust the volume of the sound and music and to turn turbo mode on and off.

The Curse of the Pharaoh slot’s main bonus feature is triggered via the scatter symbol, while there are also base game bonus features that may trigger on every spin. All of these are explained in the next section, so you can be sure that you are making the most of every spin while playing.

More about the Bonus Features

As mentioned, the Curse of the Pharaoh online slot offers both base game bonus features and a free spins round. The base game bonus is the drop mechanic. After a winning spin, following the payouts, the winning symbols explode and disappear from the reels. This allows more symbols to drop into place and potentially form more wins. This process can then continue indefinitely.

Better yet, the drop mechanic comes with payout multipliers. The first winning combinations come with a x1 multiplier, any wins formed as a result of the first drop come with a x2 multiplier, the next set comes with a x3 multiplier, and the next set with a multiplier of x5. As soon as a drop fails to form a win and the spin is over, the multiplier resets to x1.

When at least three scatter symbols land anywhere on the reels, players are given the choice of three free spins modes:

Better yet, the free spins can be retriggered by landing three more scatter symbols on the reels, so it is theoretically possible to win a huge number of them.

Tips to Keep in Mind

While all slots are games of pure luck, we do know that this is a medium volatility slot, which means it should pay out middling amounts that will help to keep players’ bankrolls topped up. Furthermore, with a hit frequency of 37%, the wins should be quite regular. As a result, you may be tempted to bet slightly more per spin, which is fine as long as you ensure you do not exceed your budget.
